Job Description :
Venturi seeks qualified candidates to support the Ground Based Midcourse Defense Program Office is various capacities.  These Systems Engineers and Systems Analysts will support the Ground Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Systems Engineering and Integration Directorate (GME) in numerous divisions. We are seeking Several personnel for each of the descriptions. All of these positions require excellent verbal and written communication skills, exceptional MS office skills, and a Secret Clearance at a minimum.
Requirements Engineer: Apply sound engineering principles to develop and decompose system and element level requirements. Conduct requirements traces and specifications trees within DOORS. Well versed in analysis and verification of requirements as well as writing and documenting element level specifications.
Infrared/RF Sensors Engineer: Must possess a thorough understanding of both Infrared and RF Sensor technology. Apply knowledge in the integration of these technologies into the GM Weapon system. Apply system requirements and identify any issue with component and element designs.
Engagement Planning Engineer: Have a in depth knowledge of how the GM Engagement planning operates and, can work through integration efforts either alone or in a team environment. Have experience in Test Case design and development regarding meeting defined test objectives.
Threat Systems Engineer: This position requires a TS clearance and the applicant must have extensive knowledge of current threats related to the GM weapon system. Ability to assess capability against emerging threats and direct required analysis of these threats.
Reliability Engineer: Ability to conduct Reliability analysis and a thorough understanding of Bayesian Reliability models/analysis methods. Ability to code new reliability models and conduct analysis.
Risk Engineer: Ability to understand risk methodologies and develop a database for tracking system risk. Assist in conducting failure review boards and assessing risk regarding program development.
 
All the above listed positions will be responsible for developing processes in accordance with the GM SEP and SEMP and ensure these processes are followed throughout the product life cycle. Meet all required reporting requirements and demonstrate the ability to work within a team construct to meet cost and schedule goals.
 

Job Requirements :
Experience Requirements:
  • 15+ years Systems Engineering experience in defense industry
  • Mastery of basic MS Office Software(Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project) plus Sharepoint
  • Experience with Missile Defense Agency, and/or Ballistic Missile Defense System Program Office Preferred.
  • Capability to develop and present briefings related to specifications and requirements to peers andsenior management-level personnel
  • Strong system analysis background, including systems engineering and integration responsibilities at system or component level.
  • Candidates must have a Secret Clearance with ability to obtain a Top Secret
